Catchword

ATLA publishes a bi-annual publication called Catchword, available to all full, student and affiliated members (included in the membership fee). Catchword is a compilation of lesson material, and articles of interest to lipreading teachers - such as information on hearing aids, national organisations, etc.

Back copies of Catchword are available at £3.50 a copy (inc. p&p). Most issues are available. Please contact the Catchword Editor, or ATLA direct via the ATLA postbox address or email.

Cheques should be made payable to ATLA.

Please note that Catchword is not available to non-members.

Newsletter

ATLA publishes a bi-annual newsletter, available to all members (included in the membership fee). The newsletter contains transcripts of lectures/workshops presented at ATLA training days, regional news, information and events.

Lipreading Teachers Wiki

ATLA also provides an online area (Wiki) for lipreading teachers. The Wiki is an area where lipreading teachers can add and share lipreading lesson material. It is available free of charge to members - the password is distributed through Catchword or by contacting the webmaster Heidi Walsh.
